KENTUCKY has 70mm (2 3/4″) wall logs.  The total footprint of this model is 32′ x 32′  for 1024 sq’ which includes the covered deck. The main building is 24′ x 32′ or 768 sq’ with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, utility room and a large open living area. The side wall height is just under 10′ with a ceiling height at the center of 16′.  The vaulted ceilings throughout provide a spacious open design. The front deck is 32′ x 8′ for a total of 256 sq’ of covered area to relax. If additional space is needed, ask us about adding a loft over the 2 bedrooms.

Wall insulating kit: includes metal brackets & 3/4″ tongue & groove wall cover boards made of matching wood.  Install studs using the brackets and then apply the interior wall cover boards over the studs. Add 10% to the selling price.

Tip: Mineral wool  insulation is recommended for log construction. It’s impervious to moisture with a higher R-value per inch than fiberglass, reduces noise levels & is environmentally friendly

Exceptional energy efficiency

Insulating the roof: This is done using locally supplied materials over the supplied tongue & groove roof boards. Build up to the required depth to house insulation and install metal roofing or shingles. High density spray foam provides maximum benefits,  highest R-value for thickness & is water proof

Assembly: This model can be assembled in 10 days or less with 3 people. Total weight is 8,480 KG/ 18,656 lbs. Kit is delivered to site, ready to assemble on a wood floor or concrete slab

Building Codes:  Passes structural codes in USA and Canada. No additional charges if upgrades are needed for earthquake, heavy snow load regions or hurricane zones

Tip: House wraps & vapor barriers are required when insulating. Vapor barriers are installed on the warm side of walls, IE: interior of the studs for cold climates, exterior of studs for hot climates

Structural Engineering: Kit includes in-house structural engineering, some regions may require a local engineer to stamp drawings
